One of my favorite places to go is the Organ Mountains of Las Cruces, New Mexico. Just 40 minutes from my home, the Organ Mountains feature picnic spots and your choice of leisurely or challenging hiking paths.
On May21, 2014 President Obama designated the Mountains as Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks National Monument
